Nazi-tattoo sporting lefty Senate candidate Graham Platner's had an account on the casual sex hookup app Kik and was reportedly caught sexting with numerous women – with photos from that profile obtained by The Post.
Maine Senate candidate Graham Platner sank deeper into hot water as his wife revealed that she found sexually explicit texts on his phone, per reporting by the Wall Street Journal. Platner's wife, Amy Gertner, told his Senate campaign about the texts with several different women, insider sources told the WSJ. Gertner discovered the texts in spring 2025, and in August, she told an aide whom she considered a friend, while the campaign was doing opposition research on Platner, the WSJ reported.Campaign aides told Gertner that they didn't expect the messages to be a problem as it was a "private matter," according to the WSJ, which mentioned that the couple had been undergoing counseling. "We did the hard work that marriage requires. We went to counseling. We were honest with each other in ways that weren't easy," Gertner said in a statement provided to the WSJ by Platner's campaign. "Our marriage today is stronger than ever before."Platner, who's hoping to unseat Sen. Susan Collins (R-ME), is already dealing with controversy surrounding his Nazi-linked tattoo, past remarks about sexual assault victims, and posts from his deleted Reddit account, which included "lenient views on infidelity," the WSJ report noted.
In an attempt to get some positive press after making good on pulling Stephen Colbert’s popular “The Late Show” off the air and replacing it with Byron Allen’s “Comics Unleashed,” CBS issued a press statement claiming it was a sound business decision despite a massive drop in viewership.According to a report from the Daily Beast, CBS claimed on Thursday the unpopular move represented sound business strategy, stating: "We're proud to partner with Byron Allen on a new business and programming model for late night that proactively addresses a network daypart that was cost-prohibitive to continue. With this 'time buy' model, we have shifted an hour that was losing roughly $40 million annually to $15 million in profit — a $55 million swing."The network reiterated its assertion that canceling Colbert's show had been "purely a financial decision," which skeptical late-night competitor Jimmy Kimmel had already rejected, stating: "There's just not a snowball's chance in hell that that's anywhere near accurate," Kimmel said. "The idea that Stephen Colbert's show was losing $40 million a year is beyond nonsensical."According to an earlier report from The Beast, "Comics Unleashed" drew only 995,000 viewers in its debut episode, while late-night talk shows hosted by Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon topped more than 1.5 million viewers on the same night — and notably, Kimmel's was a rerun, not a fresh broadcast.Even more embarrassingly for CBS, Colbert's YouTube presence continues to outperform Allen's new show, the report added. A one-night appearance by Colbert on the public access TV show "Only in Monroe" drew 928,000 views on his YouTube channel alone — a figure that doesn't include viewers on other platforms.
The June 27, 2024, debate between Donald Trump and Joe Biden will go down in history as one of the most disastrous performances ever delivered by a presidential candidate. Many say that Biden’s shaky delivery, verbal stumbles, and moments of confusion sunk his campaign right then and there, as it confirmed everyone’s fears that he was experiencing serious cognitive decline.Almost two years after the fact, former first lady Jill Biden is now suggesting that Joe might have been having a stroke during that debate — starkly contradicting her initial public praise of his performance. In a recent “CBS News Sunday Morning” interview, she said, “I was frightened because I had never, ever seen Joe like that before or since. Never. ... I don’t know what happened. As I watched it, I thought, ‘Oh my God, he’s having a stroke.’ And it scared me to death.”BlazeTV’s Sara Gonzales believes Jill Biden, whom she dubs “the former elder abuser in chief,” is “trying to rewrite history.” Sara points out that if Jill was actually concerned that her husband was having a stroke, then surely she would have sought immediate medical attention. But instead, she let him flounder until the debate was over and then gushed praise over his performance.Sara plays the infamous clip of Jill congratulating Joe, exclaiming: “Joe, you did such a great job! You answered every question; you knew all the facts!”“She was so concerned that he was having a stroke that she paraded him on stage to look like a toddler ... to tell him, ‘You answered all the questions, Joe. You did so good’?” Sara sarcastically asks. She then recounts how after the debate, Jill and Joe made a spectacle of going to Waffle House to celebrate.“If you really think your husband’s had a stroke, it doesn’t seem like that would be the best place to go for medical care,” she says. But conservatives aren’t the only ones who refuse to buy Jill’s new narrative.“Even CNN, I’ll point out, isn’t buying her bulls**t,” Sara says. She plays a clip of CNN’s Abby Phillip calling out the deceptiveness of Jill Biden’s updated story.“What kind of political system covers that up and makes it OK to lie to people about what everybody knows is true?” she asked on a segment of “NewsNight.”“You tell me, Abby!” Sara exclaims. “You guys were the ones who were doing it every day.”As for Jill’s claim that Joe’s debate performance was some kind of one-off incident, Sara says that we all have “receipts upon receipts upon receipts of Joe Biden declining.”She plays a compilation of the various blunders he made throughout his presidential career and after.“It was just an isolated incident, other than the entirety of his life now,” Sara mocks.“Jill Biden, I am calling you out. That is a lie. You did not think he was having a stroke.”To hear more, watch the episode above.Want more from Sara Gonzales? To enjoy more of Sara's no-holds-barred takes on news and culture, subscribe to BlazeTV — the largest multi-platform network of voices who love America, defend the Constitution, and live the American dream.
