Foreigners across the globe have flooded the United States for the World Cup — and according to videos they’ve been posting to social media, what many of them are finding is freedom, opportunity, abundance, and a culture that still allows people to be different.One man posted a video of himself walking around a neighborhood with driveways for planes, commenting on how that would never be allowed in the U.K.Another man posted a video of himself excited about free soda refills, while a woman posted a video of herself wearing a Buc-ee's hat, excitedly talking about the mindset of Americans: “We don’t care; do whatever you want.”“If you want to dress a certain way, go for it. If you want to start a project, go for it. If you want to pass a car on the right, you can do it. And it’s something that personally is helping me to heal, because when you’re used to shrinking yourself, and you arrive in the U.S., and you discover this space to just be yourself and do whatever you want,” the woman said.“It’s so refreshing,” she added.“Share these things. I’m telling you: All we need is to believe that we are worth saving. That’s the first step. Listen to what people from all around the world are coming here and experiencing and saying about you,” Glenn says.“You could be overseas and say they just hate people. They are bigots or whatever. They just hate foreigners or they don’t want, you know, brown people or whatever the lie is. It’s not true,” he continues.Glenn points out that as long as you treat America with respect, you’re welcome here.“That is America. Again, I don’t need you to look like me. I don’t need you to dress like me. I don’t need you to listen to the same kind of music. I don’t need any of that. I just want you to respect the basic idea that all men are created equal,” he says.“Endowed by their creator with certain inalienable rights: life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. And governments are instituted among men to protect those rights. Glenn Beck: In an anti-American Hollywood, ‘Young Washington’ is a ‘love letter to America’

At a time when many Americans feel disconnected from their nation’s history, filmmaker Jon Erwin is changing that with his film “Young Washington” — a tribute to America’s founding story in honor of the country’s 250th anniversary.Blaze Media co-founder Glenn Beck loved the film, telling Erwin that he watched it “with such pride and admiration.”“It’s a great story and a great movie,” he adds.“I just wanted to write kind of a love letter to the country for our 250,” Erwin says, “and it’s the only film in theaters nationwide that celebrates American history as we go into the 250.”“We really want to do more of these stories. We want to do more stories on the life of George Washington. We want to do more stories on the founding of America,” he explains, noting that the story is “unbelievable.”“As you know, it lives up to the hype. And you’re just filled with a sense of gratitude and awe and wonder and pride that this nation exists at all. And it really is something to celebrate together. It is a miracle. I mean, talk about low statistical odds of success,” he says.And so far, audiences have loved the film as well.“When our audience unifies our voice around something and shocks Hollywood, millions and millions of people see it that wouldn’t otherwise see it because of the fear of missing out. And that’s my hope, and that’s my prayer,” Erwin says.Erwin tells Glenn that as the film has been screened across the country, audience members have chanted “USA” at the end.“But what I love is a lot of people say, ‘I was up on Google all night researching, like, did this really happen,’ because some of the most extraordinary things in the movie actually happened. Michigan parents charged with murder and torture after their 7-year-old boy dies with disturbing weight

Law enforcement officials are expressing shock at the conditions that allegedly led to the death of a 7-year-old boy in Michigan.Paramedics were called to the home in Flint Township on Nov. 4, 2025, over the report of a child in distress.'It was just one of the most unbelievable scenes that the police have seen, that I've reviewed in my 22 years as prosecuting attorney.' They found Casper O'Brien having difficulty breathing and unable to move because he weighed 255 pounds, according to the Genesee County Sheriff's Office.His parents, Damien and Jessica O’Brien, had also packed the home with so many objects that it was difficult to move around. Police reported there was feces throughout the home because the toilet didn't work. They also said the boy had "some of the worst open sores and rashes they've ever seen." He died later that evening at a hospital.His parents were charged with one count of second-degree murder, one count of torture, and three counts of second-degree child abuse.Genesee County Prosecutor David Leyton said the autopsy showed the boy died of a heart muscle disease, and morbid obesity was listed as a contributing factor."What we allege is that he was not fed in a nutritious way," Leyton said. "He was neglected, and he was abused, and his diet is part of it, and not getting whatever help he needed because he was nonverbal as part of it. All that adds up to an extreme case of child abuse resulting in someone's death."They also found a 5-year-old child who was morbidly obese. She was found naked outside by officers and was dirty, with knots in her hair.Leyton gave a rundown of the evidence gathered in the case."We'll present the body camera footage," Leyton said. "We'll present the autopsy results. We'll present the fact that this child died from fairly natural causes brought on by the obesity and the lack of nutrition. And we'll present what we think as a case of neglect and abuse and torture."RELATED: People so 'extremely obese' they were almost bedridden starved 14-year-old girl until she weighed 35 pounds, police say The parents could face life in prison if convicted.Leyton expressed disbelief at the parents' behavior because the father had a good job with health insurance but had only taken the boy to a doctor once."They had called the veterinarian about one of their pets. They knew what to do for the dog, but they didn't do it for their own child," he added. "Sadly, he died because of neglect."Leyton said the case was difficult for the police — as well as Child Protective Services — to investigate. "It was just one of the most unbelievable scenes that the police have seen, that I've reviewed in my 22 years as prosecuting attorney," Leyton added. Like Blaze News?
