A conservative panelist on "CNN This Morning" cautioned President Donald Trump against asking Americans to continue making sacrifices for his war in Iran.The 79-year-old president declared on social media that he has "all the time in the world" and told reporters "don't rush me" to end the war, which is about to pass the eight-week mark, and The Daily Signal's Rob Bluey warned that voters may not have much more appetite for the conflict and its consequences."I do think that this president is somebody who, as we know from past experiences, does not like to be rushed, likes to do things on his terms and wants to get the best deal for the United States of America," Bluey said. "At the same time, as you saw from that polling, 30 percent of Republicans are not approving of the president's handling of the situation there in Iran, and I think that that's a number that the president needs to pay close attention to, particularly when he wants to turn out the base to make sure that they vote in the midterm election this year.""So the clock is ticking," Bluey added, "and the one thing that's on the president's mind, I'm sure, is whether or not he can wrap up this in time to make sure that he's focused on the issues that Americans care about, and largely, those are here domestically at home."New polling from Fox News shows 48 percent of Republicans, 72 percent of independents and 69 percent of Democrats say rising gas prices are a major issue, and New York Times podcaster Lulu Garcia-Navarro said the president's "don't rush me" message is likely to fall flat."Another winning message from the president – not," Garcia-Navarro said.
