Democrats lead Republicans 45 percent to 41 percent overall, but among Latinos the advantage expands to 61 percent to 31 percent — a 30-point swing compared to Trump's 2024 performance.Third Way noted that Democrats' 22-point advantage with Latino men on the congressional ballot represents a return to historical voting patterns and significantly exceeds Kamala Harris's 2024 performance among Hispanic voters.Trump gained more than 10 points of Latino support between 2020 and 2024, suggesting his immigration rhetoric was acceptable or at least not disqualifying to many Latino voters. However, the execution has proven unpopular, with 70 percent of Latino respondents saying Trump's immigration agenda "has gone too far," indicating a gap between campaign promises and governing reality.Combined with Trump's economic policies — including tariffs and Middle East military operations that have intensified inflation and rising gas prices — the president has alienated non-base voters who supported him based on 2024 economic optimism.
