'A window into a strange world': Trove of Epstein files videos baffles CNN analyst
Source: Raw Story · Bias: Far Left
Summary
A CNN analyst was befuddled by the more than 2,000 videos he reviewed from the Jeffrey Epstein files that were released by President Donald Trump's Department of Justice. Tom Foreman, a CNN correspondent, said during a segment on CNN's "The Source" with Kaitlan Collins that the files paint a "clear picture" of a "creepy guy" and raised questions about why so many people in his inner circle hung out with him. The videos show Epstein, the disgraced financier and convicted sex criminal, discussing some menial items like landscaping his properties, as well as interviews from a documentary that former Trump whisperer Steve Bannon was making about Epstein. "I think a lot of people really have never heard him speak, and to sit and watch him talk in these interviews and to see him moving around, it's just a very strange world, a little window into it," Foreman said. "And I think there should be more windows to come." In one of the videos, Epstein was asked what he thought of the human trafficking and sex crime allegations against him, to which he responded that it was "strange" how someone could find themselves in that position. A law enforcement expert who reviewed the tape with Foreman said it showed Epstein was incapable of feeling remorse for his victims.
