A federal judge ordered the White House to restore press credentials to CNN, MS NOW, and Politico, interrupting President Donald Trump’s ongoing efforts to hold the mainstream media efforts accountable for what he has long criticized as biased reporting.
CNN, MS NOW and Politico reporters have now been allowed back at the White House after a judge blocked President Trump’s ban. All three outlets had been turned away earlier in the day despite a judge’s order that the White House temporarily reinstate their access.

The same judge, Timothy Kelly, ordered a CNN journalist's access restored in a similar case back in 2018.
U.S. District Judge Timothy Kelly said that reporters for MS NOW, CNN and Politico should all immediately regain access for at least 14 days.
