Senator Mitch McConnell, the longest-serving Senate Republican leader, was admitted to a hospital Sunday morning, his spokesperson said.
A spokesman for former Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said the Kentucky republican was admitted to a hospital on Sunday.
“Senator McConnell was admitted to the hospital this morning. He is receiving excellent care,” said David Popp, a senior adviser to the Kentucky senator.
