President Donald Trump scored a major legal victory over the Internal Revenue Service on Tuesday as the agency he has long reviled was barred by the Justice Department from continuing any “known and unknown” probes into his tax returns.
As part of the settlement agreement, the U.S. is "forever barred and precluded" from examining or prosecuting President Trump, his sons and the Trump organization's current tax issues, according to a document posted to the DOJ website.
