Source: NBC News Politics · Bias: Center Left
Summary
House Republicans went home for a two week spring break, after passing their own short-term funding bill for the Department of Homeland Security that’s destined for failure in the Senate. House Speaker Mike Johnson led the charge against a different bill that was unanimously passed by the Republican-led Senate the night before. It comes as President Donald Trump signed an executive order on Friday to temporarily pay TSA agents. NBC’s Julie Tsirkin reports for Saturday TODAY.
