In the early hours of 5 November, ICE agents dragged Juana Avila out of her van, handcuffed and detained her in Cottage Grove, Oregon. Emely, her daughter, soon arrived on the scene and explained her mother had a green card and was carrying it with her. The officers proceeded to handcuff Juana and put her in their SUV.
