Summary
President Donald Trump posted another artificial intelligence-generated image of himself, prompting questions. Late Sunday, Trump uploaded an image depicting himself behind some kind of Space Force ship, zapping lasers at ships a sattelites with a flag reading “STACEBS SPACE FORCE.” In one image behind him, a large mushroom cloud appears coming out of the Earth as his finger appears on a big red button, a reference to his launching a nuclear war from his spaceship. In another image, he is depicted walking with an extraterrestrial alien he appears to have taken prisoner. It prompted swift backlash and questions about whether Trump was in his right mind. Veteran reporter Helen Kennedy noticed, "Trump is promoting himself to captain.""This is either the most elaborate Saturday afternoon trolling in presidential history. Or it's not trolling at all," said political show host Mario Mawfal."Is the alien looking for the Epstein Files?" asked Lucas Sanders in a comment to his nearly 67,000 followers. "Trump is now detonating nuclear bombs on Truth Social," wrote Spencer Hakimain, founder of Tolou Capital Management. Democratic influencer Harry Sisson commented, "Trump uploaded an AI image of him walking with an alien surrounded by the military and secret service. I don’t know what to say anymore. 25th Amendment NOW."Cartoonist Joe England was frustrated with the resistance to calling it out, "Watching the evening news. Trump just posted apocalyptic AI imagery along with a blatant threat of unleashing nuclear genocide on Iran. The anchor describes this as 'ominous words.' Just condemn it, for God's sake. This shouldn't be hard."Artist and activist Andrea Ross surmised, "Guess he didn't like how his hair looked in China. Ok Mr Tough Guy."One observer noticed smaller people in the lower corners behind the control board. It prompted them to question, "Forget about the nuclear strike, why the f— is Trump a giant in this scenario?""Three months ago this would've been a meme account," quipped another person. "Today it's the President of the United States. The Overton window didn't shift. It got dragged out in handcuffs."Anthony Scaramucci appeared on "The Fifth Column" podcast to speak with hosts about Trump. In one comment, he said, “If Barack Obama acted in the way Donald Trump is acting, the Fox News hosts would be asking for his impeachment. This guy’s falling asleep in the Oval Office. He spent $8.2T in the first term, he’s gonna rack up $9-10T at the pace he’s on now.”
