Summary
President Donald Trump suggested some Muslims shouldn't be in the U.S. because of their "genetics."During a Friday conversation with Fox News host Brian Kilmeade, Trump reflected on Thursday's attacks at Old Dominion University in Virginia and a Synagogue in Michigan."Well, it's been going on for a long time. It's a disgrace," Trump said of the attacks, which were allegedly carried out by Muslim suspects. "They come into the country, they sneak in. You know, we have a solid border now, we have a border that's 100%. Nine months, nobody coming in. But they came in, and they came in a lot through Biden, and they came in through.""How do you get into the mindset of this? How do you stop?" Kilmeade wondered. Trump argued that the attackers did not enjoy the same genetics as Kilmeade did."They're sick people, and a lot of them were let in here; they shouldn't have been let in," the president explained. "Others are just bad, they go bad, something wrong, and something wrong. The genetics are not exactly, they're not exactly your genetics. It's one of those problems, Brian. It's a, it's a terrible thing and it happens. Then it happens, and it happens too often."Trump admitted that law enforcement had to be "a little bit careful" in rounding up perpetrators because there were "a lot of good people too."
