The Justice Department on Tuesday opted to vacate the seditious conspiracy convictions of Proud Boys leaders involved in the Jan. 6, 2021, attacks on the Capitol, according to reports. Members of the far-right group Ethan Nordean, Joseph Biggs, Zachary Rehl, and Dominic Pezzola were all convicted of crimes related to leading hundreds of their allies to the Capitol building, Politico senior legal affairs reporter Kyle Cheney wrote on X. Their lengthy sentences were previously commuted, but not pardoned by President Donald Trump.
