Initial reports said a shooter was killed by Secret Service in the hotel lobby, though the FBI confirmed the gunman was later taken into custody."I've never seen anything like this in my life," CNN's Kaitlan Collins reported from inside the ballroom. CNN's Brian Stelter said mentalist Oz Pearlman had been speaking directly with Trump at his table when the commotion erupted.Trump later posted on Truth Social, praising law enforcement. "Secret Service and Law Enforcement did a fantastic job.
