Summary
Rep. Wesley Hunt, a close ally of President Donald Trump running to represent Texas in the U.S. Senate, has filed a police report after his opponent and incumbent Republican Sen. John Cornyn's senior aide allegedly shared an image of Hunt's 2016 provisional ballot. The Harris County Constable’s Office confirmed the report was filed, according to Newsweek. Hunt said that the image of his ballot had revealed personal information about himself and his family. Hunt and Cornyn have faced off in a heated battle over the high-stakes Senate GOP primary in the Lone Star state. Hunt has claimed that Cornyn's re-election campaign communications director Matt Mackowiak doxxed him by posting the last four digits of his Social Security number, driver's license ID, and home address on social media, Fox News reported. Hunt has reportedly said he would like to press charges, according to Fox News. "The tragic situation involving Savannah Guthrie is a painful reminder of how vulnerable our family truly is," Hunt told Fox News. "They should never be put in harm's way. And yet, that's exactly what happened to my family."
