A decision by Donald Trump to praise Senate Majority Leader John Thune (R-SD) for working with House Majority Leader Mike Johnson (R-LA) to get funding for the Department of Homeland Security did not sit well with all of the president’s hardcore supporters.On Thursday morning, the president took to Truth Social to write, in part: “Thank you to all of our Great Congressional Republicans, House Speaker Mike Johnson, and Senate Leader John Thune, for their work this week.
