I will fight the serious, false allegations that have been made — but that’s my fight, not a campaign’s."On Friday, the San Francisco Chronicle published a bombshell report alleging the lawmaker had assaulted one of his staffers multiple times when she was too intoxicated to consent. Since then, three other women have come forward to make allegations against Swalwell, according to reports. Swalwell has faced a mountain of criticism since the report was published, including calls from a bipartisan cadre of lawmakers to resign or be expelled from Congress.
