A new effort to drum up attendance in the waning days of Donald Trump’s Great American State Fair, which has been nothing less than a public relations disaster for the White House, saw organizers livestream a game show from the main stage, according to a new report. And, according to the Daily Beast’s Leigh Kimmins, no one is showing up to watch.Coming on the heels of entertainer cancellations, mechanical failures, horrific weather and crumbling attractions the latest desperate bid to attract visitors, organizers have started livestreaming a “bizarre new game show” hosted by Meghan McCain, a former panelist on "The View," and daughter of the late Sen. John McCain (R-AZ).According to the Beast report, McCain shared a picture on social media that "showed a stage at the Washington, D.C., fair just after 9 a.m. ET with the quiz show Race 2 Win on three screens. On the two side screens, the aspect ratio is off, so it doesn’t fit on the monitors. Nine empty chairs are dotted around a seemingly empty field, with bleak gray skies providing an apt backdrop"The game show is reportedly based on US historical trivia, with Kimmin's observing, "The new ploy is the latest in a long list of flops when it comes to Trump’s fair, supposed to be a celebration of all things American."The fair is scheduled to come to a merciful end on Friday.
